Gordon Blue Restaurant, Pernera, Cyprus
G Kouzalis LLC, Internationally renowned Cypriot Lawfirm, recently visited The Gordon Blue Restaurant. It is situated towards to top of the Pernera Bar area and is an international cuisine restaurant, owned by Maria and Pavlos Georgiou.
Pavlos father; Andreas trained as a chef in the UK before returning to Cyprus and opening the Gordon Blue Restaurant. Now his son Pavlos and daughter in law Maria run this fantastic restaurant and it is staffed entirely of family members. Andreas and Maria and Pavlos are the chefs behind the mouth watering dishes whilst Maria and her daughter Zafira serve the customers with the best level of Cypriot hospitality. You will not see a finer example of the traditional family orientated culture than here.
The restaurant is clean, tidy and well proportioned and the service is outstanding.
The food is always of an exceptional quality; made with the freshest, highest quality materials and with love and attention and never fails to satisfy the customers (the continuous stream of empty plates returning to the kitchen are testament to this). However please try and leave some room to try Maria’s homemade desserts. They are out of this world (especially the cheesecake – just thinking about it is making my mouth water!!)
Most of all the price of the food and drink are exceptionally good value for money.
We would recommend (and have and still do) anyone visiting Cyprus to visit this restaurant and try it. You will not be disappointed.
